Law: common questions

Is CLAT needed for every law college?

No. CLAT is used by the participating National Law Universities and some other colleges. NLU Delhi uses AILET, and many private universities use their own tests or Class 12 marks.

Can I study law after B.Com or B.Sc?

Yes, through a three-year LLB, which is open to graduates of any discipline.

Five-year or three-year LLB: which is better?

Both let you practise. The five-year route saves a year if you are sure about law after Class 12; the three-year route suits graduates who decide later.
